Newborn FilmsA Newborn Lifestyle session is the perfect way to capture the newness of your baby. It's super low stress for you and your family and there's not much of anything you have to do to get ready for it. I've had four newborns of my own and I know what those first weeks are like--I can shoot around laundry and dishes. :) Trust me! If you have older children, they will be in their own space which usually means they are more comfortable and can take play breaks when they need them. At the time of your session, I will come to your house and hang out with you for awhile and document what your life is actually like. I fully expect there to be multiple feedings, diaper (and possibly clothing!) changes while I'm there and if you want me to capture that, I would be happy to do that for you! For the most part, you all will spend your time as you normally would--admiring your baby, snuggling on the couch, and playing with your older kids. I will do some minimal guiding to capture some detail shots of the baby and some footage of the whole family together, but mostly I will capture you just being yourselves! |
